A VW Campervan New Forest Spring Drive!

The 20th March 2022 the first Sunday in Spring saw us organise our first VW drive out! It was a brilliant sunny (if slightly chilly!) spring day. The turnout for our first organised drive exceeded expectations and we were joined by some familiar and some new faces! Leading the convoy was our VW Bay Window Lola who was joined by fellow Bay Ozzie, two T25’s, a golf and a T4!

Upon arrival and after greeting our fellow Vdubber’s we departed from Dream Day Campers headquarters in Marchwood. Our drive took us through the beautiful New Forest passing through Beaulieu, Sowley Pond, Lymington and Highcliffe before stopping and parking up at Mudeford Quay. Our convoy stuck together throughout the drive even when challenged by the triathlon we encountered shortly after leaving Beaulieu!

Upon arrival in Mudeford Quay we were able to park up in convoy and spent the following hour chatting as a group all things Volkswagen!

All in all it was an eventful day and most definitely one for the memories book!
